Explore
the world of theatre in a safe and encouraging environment through
teamwork and cooperative learning.
Students learn theatre etiquette and technique, audition skills,
motivation, memorization and character development.
Life-long benefits include increased self-awareness, self-confidence,
reading and public speaking.
Drama
classes run twice a year, in the fall and spring. Students study
in-depth acting techniques discovering more about themselves
and their characters. These classes are performance-based as they
are cast in, rehearse and perform monologues, scenes and one-act
plays on stage.
Workshops are offered at various times throughout the year to provide
students the perfect opportunity to satisfy their curiosity about
drama while exploring their imaginations and encouraging creativity
through games, improv and scene work.
See the fall schedule posted on the homepage for more information
on the programs starting this fall.
